Ingredients:
Each capsule contains 565 mg of a proprietary blend of:
Bovine liver PMG™, Veal bone PMG™, nutritional yeast, bovine spleen PMG™, Bovine thymus PMG™, Bovine thymus Cytosol™, Bovine liver, Bovine spleen, ovine spleen, and calcium lactate.
Other ingredients:
Gelatin, zinc liver chelate, ascorbic acid, iron liver chelate, water, chromium yeast, copper liver chelate, selenium yeast, mixed tocopherols, natural colors, pyridoxine hydrochloride, calcium stearate, vitamin A palmitate, folic acid, and cyanocobolamin.
Comments:
Immuplex is a product by Standard Process® that is intended to boost the immune system. We have found it to be an excellent product for nonspecific immune boosting over long periods of time. It also can be used for short-term immune boosting.
As with many of our products, we would usually recommend other products in combination with Immuplex, such as Chinese herbs or nutraceuticals intended to address the specific problem(s) seen in your companion animal. Dosage:
Cats:
- 1/4 capsule daily
Dogs:
- 1-25 lbs: 1/2 capsule twice daily
- 25-50 lbs: 1 capsule twice daily
- 50-100 lbs: 2 capsules twice daily
Birds:
- Small birds (to 100 gms): 1/32 capsule (a small pinch) daily in food
- Medium birds (100-300 gms): 1/16 capsule daily in food
- Large birds (300-600 gms): 1/8 capsule daily in food
- Flock dosing: 1-2 capsules per cup of soft food once daily
Caution: baby birds (not yet fledged) and birds with iron storage disease or a potential for iron storage disease (e.g.. Mynah birds) should not be given Immuplex as there is a relatively high level of iron in this product.
