Note: Flax oil, although often claimed to be an excellent source of omega 3 oils, does not contain the most essential ones (EPA and DHA). In cats, flax oil probably is not utilized to gain the benefits of Omega 3 supplementation. It is also questionable if flax oil benefits dogs as we would hope. Dosage:
Cats
1 capsule daily, opened and placed on food
Dogs
1 capsule for each 20 lbs body weight, up to 3 capsules twice daily opened and placed onto food.
Birds
1/4 capsule placed onto soft foods once daily
